The Project Development Group

The Project Development Group (PDG) is responsible for managing the portfolio of CDRD projects to ensure that projects meet their goals and objectives. The PDG consists of the Scientific Director, the CDRD Heads, the Director of Business Development and the Director of Project Management.

Project Champions

CDRD assigns a Project Champion to each project. Project Champions have over 10 years of experience in sciences related to drug development combined with project management skills honed within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Their job is to help principal investigators progress projects from discovery through to the preclinical proof-of-concept stage.

Joint Development Committee

The Joint Development Committee (JDC) determines which projects are selected for development within CDRD and oversees the progress of all CDRD projects. The JDC’s membership includes the CDRD executives (CEO and Scientific Director), division chairs, strategic advisors, and independent experts as needed.
