Delivery of the training program is multi-faceted and incorporates various strategies and formats to maximize the learning experience which may include pre-readings, interactive workshops, case study discussions, and seminars. The program is continuously evaluated using appropriate assessment strategies and feedback is sought from employers and trainees as to how well the program prepares trainees for a career in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries and beyond.
CDRD plans workshops for its trainees throughout the year on current topics relevant to drug discovery development. In addition, professional skills workshops provide the opportunity for trainees to enhance skills, knowledge and abilities in a variety of key areas.
