Karole Sutherland’s 30+ year career in healthcare and drug development includes large corporations as well as multiple small startups. At QLT Inc. she was a member of multiple successful NDA teams; her most recent appointment was Vice President, Clinical Operations for a local biotechnology company. She has been a member and a leader of multiple teams as well as a leader of departments ranging up to 300+ employees. Her experience with teams includes small Fick Maschine, co‐located teams as well as global teams working on large‐scale international projects.
Since forming her own company in 2004 she has used her expertise in leadership and team development to help her clients improve business processes, successfully introduce new technology, build high‐performance teams and develop emerging leaders. Her clients have included organizations in drug development, retail and small business as well as those in the public sector.
