Centre for Drug Research and Development Expands Graduate Student Training Opportunities - Completing MSc and PhD Students Now Eligible to Participate in Internship Program

The Centre for Drug Research and Development (CDRD) is pleased to announce that completing MSc and PhD students are now eligible to participate in our Graduate Student Internship (GSI) Program, and take advantage of the many associated training opportunities.

CDRD is committed to being a centre for talent development in drug discovery and development, and as such, offers innovative training programs for postdoctoral fellows, co-op students and interns. Central to these efforts is the GSI Program launched last Fall that is now being expanded.

This four-month internship program offers selected students the opportunity to gain hands-on research experience working with cutting-edge multidisciplinary drug discovery and development teams, gain new knowledge and skills, attend seminars and workshops, access state-of-the art equipment, and make an end-of-term presentation where they can share their results with CDRD staff.

With the new changes, senior Master's and Doctoral students can now apply at any time, including immediately following submission of their thesis. Only students with permission from their supervisor and Program Advisor / Department Head may apply. Successful applicants will receive a stipend from CDRD during their internship.

Current GSI positions may be viewed under "Careers". More details on the internship positions, including general information and application criteria, may be viewed under "Training".
