Ms Regts is a communications professional with more than 10 years’ experience in corporate communications, investor relations, and media relations. Prior to joining CDRD, Ms Regts led in-house communications and investor relations for publicly-traded lifesciences companies, including Angiotech Pharmaceuticals and Forbes Medi-Tech. Previously, Ms Regts managed communications for Partnerships BC (senior communications consultant for the Abbotsford Hospital & Cancer Centre) and Citizens Bank of Canada (Canada’s first online bank). In a consulting capacity, Ms Regts has provided strategic advice to businesses, non-profit organizations and government agencies, with a particular focus on web-based communicating.
Ms Regts has a BA in English Literature (University of Victoria) and MBA - International Business (University of Victoria / ENPC-Paris). She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), and the Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI). Ms Regts is also a member of the CIRI-BC Board, with a particular focus on developing professional development activities for investor relations and communications professionals.
