We encourage investigators to submit a potential project to us by:
The Centre for Drug Research and Development Project Development Team will work with you and your technology transfer office to define the potential project and guide you through CDRD’s project approval process.

When a project is CDRD approved, the project team begins the experiments detailed in the project plan. Approved CDRD projects work in cycles of six to nine months with well-defined project milestones and “Go”/“No Go” points. Typically a project will need to proceed through two to four cycles before being considered ready for commercialization. A comprehensive technology dossier summarizing all data and supporting information generated for each project is prepared on final project completion.

A project team consists of the principal investigator, other collaborators, a technology transfer office contact person, CDRD personnel, and a CDRD Project Champion.
