As experts in their own area, scientists may require access to expertise to move from one stage of development to the next.  The Centre for Drug Research and Development's industry-trained personnel can assist academic investigators in identifying the critical experiments required to move a technology from an interesting discovery to a potential commercial product that can attract private investment or interest in out-licensing. CDRD supplies in-kind access to equipment and personnel to perform experiments and help manage projects.
