Our Graduate Student Interns are provided an exciting opportunity to contribute to and learn about the biotech/life sciences industry and gain new knowledge and skills in aspects of drug discovery and development. Graduate Student Interns will participate on a scientific team that will evaluate projects and provide the critical experience and training related to the commercialization of drug discovery.
CDRD offers a balance of academic collegiality and industrial focus. We provide an excellent platform for you to further develop skills, be exposed to new ideas and ways of working, interact with professionals with industrial experience, and apply your graduate research training to solve practical drug discovery and development problems.
Graduate Student Intern placements begin with a 4-month contract with an option to extend for an additional 2 months if mutually acceptable.
In many cases, students may opt to take a leave of absence from University to undertake an internship at CDRD. For more information, please read our "FAQs for Graduate Student Interns" or contact Kim Flock at kflock@cdrd.ca
