Co-op Students

Work cycles

Co-op placements typically run 4-8 months throughout the academic calendar year and require the student to work full-time. All positions are paid.

CDRD’s co-op placements take place:

  • January – April
  • May – August
  • September – December

Qualifications and Experience

Enrollment in an undergraduate co-op program in biology, molecular biology, genetics, medical genetics or biochemistry, or chemistry

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills

Recruitment Process

Recruitment for the January co-op cycle begins in September; recruitment for the May co-op cycle begins in January; recruitment for the September co-op cycle begins in May.
